GLG is looking to hire a Marketing Associate to join our South APAC marketing team, covering Australia, New Zealand, India, and Southeast Asia. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for a digital marketer with proven experience across SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), and paid digital channels — someone who can own workstreams independently, connect data to strategy, and drive measurable results across a complex, multi-market region.

You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and execute integrated campaigns, lifecycle programmes, and organic and paid digital strategies across the South APAC region, spanning three business segments: Corporate, Financial Services, and Consulting.

This role requires at least two years of relevant working experience. We are not looking for a generalist — we need someone who can hit the ground running, take strategic ownership of digital and content workstreams, and proactively identify opportunities.

Campaign Execution & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, paid, and organic channels for the South APAC region in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager — from strategy to deployment to optimisation.
  • Own lifecycle campaign workstreams end-to-end: audience segmentation, copy, trigger logic, CTA design, and post-launch analysis.
  • Independently analyse campaign performance data and translate findings into segment-specific, market-specific recommendations.
  • Proactively identify performance gaps, content opportunities, and activation levers.

SEO, GEO & Organic Traffic

  • Execute the regional SEO and GEO roadmap in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager, covering ANZ, India, and SEA: keyword research, on-page optimisation, content gap analysis, and content development optimised for AI discovery surfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) — including knowing how to brief the global digital team on GEO implementation requirements.
  • Conduct keyword research and map findings to specific page update recommendations with a prioritised execution timeline.
  • Collaborate with the global digital team to implement geo-targeted page variations (cookie-based or IP-based) for localised search demand.
  • Monitor and report on organic traffic, AI assistant referral traffic, keyword rankings, and search share of voice by region on a regular cadence.
  • Provide written SEO and GEO optimisation recommendations for all new and existing localised website content and landing pages prior to publication.

Paid Digital & SEM

  • Support the planning and independently manage paid search (SEM), retargeting, and display advertising campaigns for the South APAC region, including campaign setup, audience targeting, bid strategy, and budget management.
  • Execute and optimise paid media campaigns that complement organic efforts — particularly where organic reach is limited or where time-to-impact requires a paid lever.
  • Analyse paid performance data by market and channel, and provide actionable recommendations to improve CTR, CPL, and conversion efficiency.
  • Contribute a strong point of view on paid channel strategy — identify best practices, test hypotheses, and make data-driven recommendations on what to run, where, and for whom.

Content Development & Strategy

  • Create and adapt marketing content — email copy, landing pages, digital ads, campaign briefs — that speaks directly to each segment’s client engagement context, not generic product descriptions.
  • Understand how GLG’s clients use the platform in practice and reflect that in copy.
  • Stay current on GLG’s product updates, new capability launches, and platform features, and proactively identify how these can be incorporated into campaign content.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to inform content strategy and identify positioning opportunities.

Data, Reporting & Analytical Ownership

  • Independently compile and share a regular digital performance dashboard covering web traffic by region, keyword and paid media performance, email engagement metrics, and lead activation data.
  • Produce analysis that goes beyond reporting numbers: identify the why behind performance patterns, flag issues and propose specific next steps.
  • Work with Salesforce, Marketo, GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to surface insights and track campaign effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with Business Development, Business Unit, and Marketing Operations stakeholders across ANZ, India, and SEA to align on campaign priorities, audience lists, and content direction.
  • Submit all deliverables with clear context.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in digital marketing, ideally in a B2B or professional services context.
  • Hands-on SEO experience: keyword research, on-page optimisation, content gap analysis, and performance monitoring using tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) knowledge: understanding of how AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) surface content, and how to write and brief content that performs well on these channels — this is a growing and important channel for our region.
  • SEM and paid digital experience: campaign setup and management across Google Ads and/or LinkedIn, including retargeting and display. Able to develop and execute paid strategies independently and make data-driven optimisation decisions.
  • Email marketing and marketing automation: experience building and executing lifecycle campaigns in Marketo or equivalent, including audience segmentation, trigger logic, and A/B testing.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to work with performance data across multiple channels and markets, identify what the data means, and translate findings into specific recommended actions — not just summaries.
  • Content development: ability to write clear, audience-appropriate marketing copy for B2B audiences, with an understanding of how different audience types use services differently.
  • Excellent communication

Experience & Skills — Preferred

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM for campaign tracking and lead management.
  • Experience working across multiple markets in Asia Pacific simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO concepts and how to brief global or specialist teams on implementation requirements.
  • Understanding of B2B audience segmentation across corporate, financial services, and professional services verticals.
