  • Design investor-focused interview agendas and questions that go beyond public commentary and generate original insight.
  • Lead human-moderated one-to-one interviews, listening actively, probing inconsistencies and redirecting the conversation toward material investor questions.

Required qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication and live-interviewing skills, including the ability to probe beyond surface-level responses and challenge senior operators in real time.
  • Strong written English and research judgment, with the ability to distinguish incremental insight from general commentary.
  • Ability to own sector-wide credit coverage independently, collaborate effectively across the Automobiles pod, and deliver high-quality work at speed in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Independent ownership of issuer, industry or thematic credit research that informed an investment, underwriting or risk decision.
  • Direct exposure to credit committee discussions, management or expert interviews, earnings analysis or market-event research.
  • Relevant public-equity or private-market exposure, restructuring or transaction experience, language skills or local-market knowledge.
  • MBA, CFA, CA or a relevant graduate or technical qualification.
