GLG's FP&A team is looking for a manager.  We are looking for an analytical and strategic thinker that thrives in a fast-pace, dynamic environment and defaults to action. You'll play an integral role in analyzing financial results, building and maintaining various models and developing and tracking various KPIs.   

This position will provide analysis and reporting to measure business performance and drive growth.  The role involves significant exposure to and interaction with key business stakeholders and requires the candidate to demonstrate exceptional business acumen, maturity, and relationship-building capabilities.  We are seeking a motivated self-starter with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and communications skills.  The ideal candidate will be able to balance multiple high-priority projects, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial, can-do, get-things-done attitude.  

  

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Develop and improve company forecast and budget process 
  • Variance analysis based on a strong understanding of the company’s financial statement, including balance sheet and cashflow statement, in close collaboration with Accounting and Treasury. 
  • FP&A lead for various compliance disclosures, in close collaboration with Accounting. 
  • Financial planning, reporting and analysis, which includes reporting on actual versus budget and P&L by business unit. 
  • Designing dashboards in a financial planning system to streamline user inputs and to automate reporting on business KPIs. 
  • Refreshing and enhancing revenue, expense and operational metric reporting on a monthly basis. 
  • Production of presentation materials for senior management and the board of directors. 
  • Contributing to and eventually running monthly meetings with department leaders to review in detail how their expenses are tracking to identify areas of saving and potential budget risk. 
  • Gathering insights and information for the regional FP&A teams to consolidate into the global reporting. 
  • Ad hoc projects

  

An ideal candidate will have the following: 

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, and advanced degree is preferred. 
  • 4-6 years of work experience, in investment banking, equity research or consulting, with previous experience building company 3 statement models a strict requirement. 
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are required. 
  • Previous experience Adaptive Planning or other financial planning software is desired, must be comfortable working with large databases. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required. 
  • Must have strong attention to detail with a devotion to accuracy and data integrity. 
  • Adaptable disposition, along with an ability to adjust to change and ad-hoc requests.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$98,000—$175,000 USD

Senior Security Engineer

About the role:

Working hours: Aligned to US Eastern business hours (approximately 09:00 to 18:00 ET), Monday to Friday. 

We are looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to own GLG's threat detection and incident response capability during US business hours. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to Nick Franzi. The successful candidate will be the firm's primary subject matter expert for detection engineering, security operations, and incident response: responsible for ensuring threats are identified early, investigated thoroughly, and resolved with durable outcomes. 

This individual will build and maintain the systems, processes, and playbooks that underpin GLG's operational security posture. They will work closely with IT, engineering, legal, and business teams across the firm, as well as dedicated platform SMEs within the Information Security team, and will serve as the primary point of escalation for active security events during US business hours.

GLG’s Financial Services business is seeking an experienced New Business Sales professional to build relationships across the Eastern region of the US, based in our New York office. To be successful in the role they will utilize best in class sales process and pipeline management, leverage internal product specialists to accelerate sales cycles, and consistently onboard new clients for GLG. The ideal candidate will have an intense hunger to win, a willingness to learn quickly and the desire to be part of a performance-oriented, team-centric environment.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directly engage and build relationships with Public and Private Equity investment professionals (Analysts, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, Principals, MDs) and operations personnel (COOs, CFOs) via phone, in-person meetings and email
  • Articulate GLG’s market leadership, premium brand, and value proposition in a differentiated manner
  • Exhibit knowledge and command of current trends in Financial Services
  • Develop account plans for top named prospects and strategies for a defined territory

As an Employee Relations Partner, you will lead strategic programs for driving a culture of high performing teams, a culture of feedback and an environment that is fair and equitable across the organization. You will provide advice, support and recommendations for the resolution of critical and complex employee relations activities. You will provide consultation and coaching to employees and managers in areas such as performance management, compliance and investigations, conflict resolution, labor law legislation and termination management. You will partner closely with your HR partners and the business to effectively support employee relations and respective strategic initiatives.

Business Development Manager (Private markets)
Singapore

GLG is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee and grow a book of Private Equity client relationships in Singapore, while identifying and closing new logo opportunities across the market.

In this role, you will be the primary commercial owner for a set of existing PE accounts — driving renewals, deepening relationships across buying centres, and identifying expansion opportunities. Alongside this, you will run a defined new logo pipeline, targeting PE firms not yet engaged with GLG and moving them from first contact to close.

You will work closely with the service team to ensure clients are extracting value from their subscriptions, and leverage GLG's CRM tools to track account health, pipeline activity, and new business progress.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Renew and grow annual subscriptions across an existing book of PE clients in Singapore
  • Identify and develop new buying centres within current accounts
  • Build and manage a new logo pipeline — targeting PE firms across Singapore and the broader SEA market
  • Work directly with PE professionals from Associate to Partner level to embed GLG into their investment process
  • Build account plans with clear growth objectives and quarterback the service team to deliver against them
  • Partner with internal colleagues across sales, service, marketing, and legal to deliver solutions to complex client needs
  • Represent GLG's value proposition to senior decision makers across the PE market
