GLG’s Campaign Manager, Event Marketing sits within the Marketing organization and plays a key role in driving audience engagement, event registrations, and campaign performance across GLG’s portfolio of virtual and in-person events. This role is responsible for developing and executing data-informed marketing campaigns that connect senior decision-makers with timely insights and expertise from GLG’s global network of experts.
Blending event marketing, campaign operations, audience strategy, and performance analysis, this role partners closely with event programming, content, commercial, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality campaigns that drive engagement and support broader business objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytically minded marketer who is energized by fast-paced execution, audience optimization, and continuous performance improvement.
This role reports to the Director of Campaigns & Analytics and owns the end-to-end campaign process, including audience segmentation, campaign deployment, reporting, testing, optimization, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Audience Strategy & Event Promotion
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to drive registrations and engagement across GLG’s event portfolio
- Build and refine audience segments aligned to event topics, client interests, engagement behavior, and campaign objectives
- Partner closely with event programmers, content leads, and commercial stakeholders to ensure campaigns reach the most relevant audiences
- Contribute to audience growth and engagement strategies through testing, segmentation, and performance insights
- Campaign execution and Optimization
- Develop and execute integrated event marketing campaigns across email and digital channels, including campaign setup, QA, deployment, reporting, and optimization
- Write and edit compelling promotional copy for event invitations, landing pages, reminder communications, and post-event follow-ups
- Monitor campaign and outreach performance across key engagement and conversion metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, registrations, attendance, and conversion trends
- Translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations that improve targeting, messaging, engagement, and operational efficiency
- Support testing initiatives across subject lines, messaging, segmentation, timing, and audience strategies to continuously improve campaign performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Partner with Marketing, Content, Programming, and Commercial teams to coordinate campaign timelines, audience targeting, and execution workflows
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across audience management, campaign QA, reporting, and operational processes
- Help improve campaign processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency within the broader marketing organization
- Manage multiple concurrent campaigns and event priorities in a fast-moving environment with strong attention to detail and execution quality
- Required Skills
Potential candidates must possess:
- Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience, or certification(s) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in event marketing, campaign management, marketing operations, or email marketing, preferably within a B2B or professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience executing email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, deployment, and performance reporting
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, with Marketo experience strongly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience writing promotional or conversion-oriented marketing copy
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills across campaign execution, QA, and audience management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
- Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting campaign performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, reporting tools, and digital marketing workflows
- Experience supporting webinar, virtual event, or executive audience marketing programs
- Experience working within a fast-paced, metrics-oriented B2B marketing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
