What You’ll Do: 

You will own your book of business end-to-end. Key responsibilities include: 

Full-Cycle Sales & Client Acquisition: 

  • Source, qualify, and close new users across the AmLaw 200 and leading boutique firms 
  • Build tailored outreach campaigns that engage busy lawyers through calls, emails, and creative touchpoints 
  • Confidently pitch GLG’s expert witness model and articulate our value in high-stakes, time-pressured situations 

Strategic Account Management & Expansion: 

  • Develop deep understanding of your clients’ litigation portfolios, priorities, and decision-making processes 
  • Build account plans that track opportunities, forecast growth, and increase share of wallet 
  • Drive adoption across practice groups, offices, and partner networks 

Navigating Complex Personalities:  

  • Engage partners, associates, and in-house counsel who expect precision, speed, and strong judgment 
  • Handle challenging conversations with poise and resilience 
  • Influence sophisticated buyers, earning credibility through knowledge, responsiveness, and insight 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:  

  • Work closely with our Client Solutions team to scope and deliver nuanced expert witness solutions 
  • Share market intelligence to help shape product, service model, and go-to-market strategy

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$80,000—$95,000 USD

  • Identifying and bringing on new clients in Australia and New Zealand. About the role:

Working hours: Aligned to US Eastern business hours (approximately 09:00 to 18:00 ET), Monday to Friday. 

We are looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to own GLG's threat detection and incident response capability during US business hours. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to Nick Franzi. The successful candidate will be the firm's primary subject matter expert for detection engineering, security operations, and incident response: responsible for ensuring threats are identified early, investigated thoroughly, and resolved with durable outcomes.

GLG’s Financial Services business is seeking an experienced New Business Sales professional to build relationships across the Eastern region of the US, based in our New York office. To be successful in the role they will utilize best in class sales process and pipeline management, leverage internal product specialists to accelerate sales cycles, and consistently onboard new clients for GLG. The ideal candidate will have an intense hunger to win, a willingness to learn quickly and the desire to be part of a performance-oriented, team-centric environment.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directly engage and build relationships with Public and Private Equity investment professionals (Analysts, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, Principals, MDs) and operations personnel (COOs, CFOs) via phone, in-person meetings and email
  • Articulate GLG’s market leadership, premium brand, and value proposition in a differentiated manner
  • Exhibit knowledge and command of current trends in Financial Services
  • Develop account plans for top named prospects and strategies for a defined territory

Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated a track record of overachieving in a performance-based environment, preferably in the financial services research & data industry or consulting industry. Strong interest in and understanding of the research process for Hedge Funds is vital to this role.
