GLG is seeking candidate for an Analyst role based in Gurugram, India. The individual will be part of GLGs 70-person global compliance department and would be required to provide timely and thoughtful support for global client service professionals. In this role you will develop strong actionable business skills – including time management, critical thinking, prioritization, communication, negotiation, problem solving, dispute management and project management.

In addition to developing essential problem solving, time management, risk assessment and interpersonal skills you will contribute to broader compliance initiatives by analysing complex data, regulations, and situations to identify potential risks and develop effective risk mitigation strategies while developing effective communication skills.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for work including (but not limited to) the tasks below:

  • Learning our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements.
  • Conduct internet-based search.
  • Conducting reviews and evaluate the completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of an individual or an entities profile.
  • Identifying and applying a strong distinction between correct/incorrect business practices and escalate compliance breaches.
  • Understanding and enforcing key requirements of firm and regulators’ Legal & Compliance rules and policies.
  • Managing tasks and activities in a timely manner with complete ownership of responsibilities.
  • Engaging with client service professionals daily to understand their needs and provide support to meet an objective of providing excellent services to Clients
  • Partnering with different business units and work through complex situation on a day to day basis.
  • Individual will reference existing policies; however, due to frequency of unique situations will need to research issues and, through situation-specific inquiries, propose solutions to issues.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 2 years of minimum relevant industry experience i.e Compliance, Due Diligence, Risk Management.
  • Mandatory - Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Desirable but not required - Fluency (verbal & written) in Japanese and/or Korean languages skills will be given preference.
  • Possess excellent Internet-based research skills. Familiarity with using Internet-based investigative tools would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills since the role requires collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Successful track record of working in a team environment.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment often accompanied by stringent deadlines.
  • Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem-solving approach.
  • Able to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently.

About the Team

GLG is seeking candidates to join our Asia Client Solutions team in Korea. Associates in our Corporate Service team, practice work directly to support and manage research inquiries coming from our client firms based in South Korea.

Client Solutions Professionals design and facilitate customized research solutions based upon our clients’ needs, creating innovative solutions on each client assignment.  In addition, Research Professionals will have the opportunity to grow key client relationships and to contribute to the development, structuring, and pricing of products specifically for Corporate clients in conjunction with our Business Development team.

Senior Security Engineer

About the role:

Working hours: Aligned to US Eastern business hours (approximately 09:00 to 18:00 ET), Monday to Friday. 

We are looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to own GLG's threat detection and incident response capability during US business hours. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to Nick Franzi. The successful candidate will be the firm's primary subject matter expert for detection engineering, security operations, and incident response: responsible for ensuring threats are identified early, investigated thoroughly, and resolved with durable outcomes. 

This individual will build and maintain the systems, processes, and playbooks that underpin GLG's operational security posture. They will work closely with IT, engineering, legal, and business teams across the firm, as well as dedicated platform SMEs within the Information Security team, and will serve as the primary point of escalation for active security events during US business hours.

GLG’s Financial Services business is seeking an experienced New Business Sales professional to build relationships across the Eastern region of the US, based in our New York office. To be successful in the role they will utilize best in class sales process and pipeline management, leverage internal product specialists to accelerate sales cycles, and consistently onboard new clients for GLG. The ideal candidate will have an intense hunger to win, a willingness to learn quickly and the desire to be part of a performance-oriented, team-centric environment.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directly engage and build relationships with Public and Private Equity investment professionals (Analysts, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, Principals, MDs) and operations personnel (COOs, CFOs) via phone, in-person meetings and email
  • Articulate GLG’s market leadership, premium brand, and value proposition in a differentiated manner
  • Exhibit knowledge and command of current trends in Financial Services
  • Develop account plans for top named prospects and strategies for a defined territory
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with internal colleagues—client solutions, product, marketing, legal, finance—to accelerate sales cycle and close new business
  • Spearhead world-class user and team on-boarding sessions with new clients and users

Key performance metrics for this role include core sales activities (i.e. calls/emails, meetings, new client acquisition), opportunity/pipeline management, and newly closed revenue.

Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated a track record of overachieving in a performance-based environment, preferably in the financial services research & data industry or consulting industry. Strong interest in and understanding of the research process for Hedge Funds is vital to this role.

As an Employee Relations Partner, you will lead strategic programs for driving a culture of high performing teams, a culture of feedback and an environment that is fair and equitable across the organization. You will provide advice, support and recommendations for the resolution of critical and complex employee relations activities. You will provide consultation and coaching to employees and managers in areas such as performance management, compliance and investigations, conflict resolution, labor law legislation and termination management. You will partner closely with your HR partners and the business to effectively support employee relations and respective strategic initiatives.

Business Development Manager (Private markets)
Singapore

GLG is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee and grow a book of Private Equity client relationships in Singapore, while identifying and closing new logo opportunities across the market.

In this role, you will be the primary commercial owner for a set of existing PE accounts — driving renewals, deepening relationships across buying centres, and identifying expansion opportunities. Alongside this, you will run a defined new logo pipeline, targeting PE firms not yet engaged with GLG and moving them from first contact to close.

You will work closely with the service team to ensure clients are extracting value from their subscriptions, and leverage GLG's CRM tools to track account health, pipeline activity, and new business progress.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Renew and grow annual subscriptions across an existing book of PE clients in Singapore
  • Identify and develop new buying centres within current accounts
  • Build and manage a new logo pipeline — targeting PE firms across Singapore and the broader SEA market
  • Work directly with PE professionals from Associate to Partner level to embed GLG into their investment process
  • Build account plans with clear growth objectives and quarterback the service team to deliver against them
  • Partner with internal colleagues across sales, service, marketing, and legal to deliver solutions to complex client needs
  • Represent GLG's value proposition to senior decision makers across the PE market
