Our Client Solutions Associates are front-line client service professionals and the engine of GLG. They work closely with our clients in the financial services industries -- including public equity/ private equity/ private credit -- on the critical decisions they make every day. These custom learning solutions include phone consultations and one-on-one meetings, as well as surveys, reports, and site tours with leading experts and C-suite executives.

Client Solutions Associates work in teams across industries, connecting our clients to the insight they need from leading doctors, academics, scientists, policy specialists, strategists, executives and other experts with years of on-the-ground experience. Client Solutions Associates themselves also develop into subject matter experts across industries and topics via their client service role. 

In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training of which some of the key initial responsibilities include: 

  • Expanding GLG Experts and learning to effectively and clearly explain GLG’s value proposition and business model to leading industry thought leaders; 
  • Engaging Experts on a daily basis to understand their capabilities and knowledge on specific client requests; 
  • Supporting senior team members on all aspects of client engagements; and Learning our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements.

As you progress in this role you will gain more autonomy by: 

  • Executing custom projects across client firms – including consultations, surveys, and special projects;
  • Continuing to expand GLG Experts network;
  • Engaging with clients daily to understand their needs and provide exceptional service;
  • Maintaining accountability and responsibility for client projects and overall client experience;
  • Collaborating with our Business Development team on revenue growth opportunities and ensure retention on existing accounts;
  • Collaborating closely with senior team members to program live event content for Greater China as well as more broadly distributed virtual event content. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelors degree, or higher 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English  
  • Curiosity about markets, including trends and white spaces 
  • Passion for problem -solving in a client service role 
  • Ability to write, speak and present succinctly to deliver theses/ideas 
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and interest, in some or all the following areas: Sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals; and/or Business development, corporate development, product development, Product and project management 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Up to 2 years of work experience in client-facing, account management or analyst roles in relevant industries such as banking, business services, consultancies and financial services or start up environment

About the Team

GLG is seeking candidates to join our Asia Client Solutions team in Korea. Associates in our Corporate Service team, practice work directly to support and manage research inquiries coming from our client firms based in South Korea.

Client Solutions Professionals design and facilitate customized research solutions based upon our clients’ needs, creating innovative solutions on each client assignment.  In addition, Research Professionals will have the opportunity to grow key client relationships and to contribute to the development, structuring, and pricing of products specifically for Corporate clients in conjunction with our Business Development team.

Senior Security Engineer

About the role:

Working hours: Aligned to US Eastern business hours (approximately 09:00 to 18:00 ET), Monday to Friday. 

We are looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to own GLG's threat detection and incident response capability during US business hours. This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to Nick Franzi. The successful candidate will be the firm's primary subject matter expert for detection engineering, security operations, and incident response: responsible for ensuring threats are identified early, investigated thoroughly, and resolved with durable outcomes. 

This individual will build and maintain the systems, processes, and playbooks that underpin GLG's operational security posture. They will work closely with IT, engineering, legal, and business teams across the firm, as well as dedicated platform SMEs within the Information Security team, and will serve as the primary point of escalation for active security events during US business hours.

GLG’s Financial Services business is seeking an experienced New Business Sales professional to build relationships across the Eastern region of the US, based in our New York office. To be successful in the role they will utilize best in class sales process and pipeline management, leverage internal product specialists to accelerate sales cycles, and consistently onboard new clients for GLG. The ideal candidate will have an intense hunger to win, a willingness to learn quickly and the desire to be part of a performance-oriented, team-centric environment.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Directly engage and build relationships with Public and Private Equity investment professionals (Analysts, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, Principals, MDs) and operations personnel (COOs, CFOs) via phone, in-person meetings and email
  • Articulate GLG’s market leadership, premium brand, and value proposition in a differentiated manner
  • Exhibit knowledge and command of current trends in Financial Services
  • Develop account plans for top named prospects and strategies for a defined territory
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with internal colleagues—client solutions, product, marketing, legal, finance—to accelerate sales cycle and close new business

Key performance metrics for this role include core sales activities (i.e. calls/emails, meetings, new client acquisition), opportunity/pipeline management, and newly closed revenue.

Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated a track record of overachieving in a performance-based environment, preferably in the financial services research & data industry or consulting industry. Strong interest in and understanding of the research process for Hedge Funds is vital to this role.

As an Employee Relations Partner, you will lead strategic programs for driving a culture of high performing teams, a culture of feedback and an environment that is fair and equitable across the organization. You will provide advice, support and recommendations for the resolution of critical and complex employee relations activities. You will provide consultation and coaching to employees and managers in areas such as performance management, compliance and investigations, conflict resolution, labor law legislation and termination management. You will partner closely with your HR partners and the business to effectively support employee relations and respective strategic initiatives.

Business Development Manager (Private markets)
Singapore

GLG is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee and grow a book of Private Equity client relationships in Singapore, while identifying and closing new logo opportunities across the market.

In this role, you will be the primary commercial owner for a set of existing PE accounts — driving renewals, deepening relationships across buying centres, and identifying expansion opportunities. Alongside this, you will run a defined new logo pipeline, targeting PE firms not yet engaged with GLG and moving them from first contact to close.

You will work closely with the service team to ensure clients are extracting value from their subscriptions, and leverage GLG's CRM tools to track account health, pipeline activity, and new business progress.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Renew and grow annual subscriptions across an existing book of PE clients in Singapore
  • Identify and develop new buying centres within current accounts
  • Build and manage a new logo pipeline — targeting PE firms across Singapore and the broader SEA market
  • Work directly with PE professionals from Associate to Partner level to embed GLG into their investment process
  • Build account plans with clear growth objectives and quarterback the service team to deliver against them
  • Partner with internal colleagues across sales, service, marketing, and legal to deliver solutions to complex client needs
  • Represent GLG's value proposition to senior decision makers across the PE market
