GLG's two-story 42,000 square foot work space in downtown Austin won Interior Design magazine's Best of Year award for 'Mid-Size Corporate' offices. Designed by Los Angeles-based Clive Wilkinson Architects, the Austin workplace builds on the activity-based working model embodied by GLG's New York headquarters constructed by the same firm just two years earlier. Despite sharing many of the same design elements, GLG's Austin office has a decidedly different feel due in part to the incorporation of local craftsmanship from metal mesh guardrails and ceilings to the natural wood barista bar.
