Webcast Magic
How do you breathe new life into the modest medium of Microsoft webcasts? Overdo it, of course. GLG produced three over-the-top videos, banner ads, interactive contests, and a microsite to provide a glimpse behind the scenes and turn the perception of webcasts on its head. The campaign then went viral as it reached out to developers and IT professionals. Using nontraditional channels, humor, and integrated creative execution, GLG created a buzz that raised the volume for Microsoft webcasts.
